I cannot believe we are already half way through November and just 4 weeks till Christmas, what has happened to the last two months!! I think I must have been asleep!
Lets get the bad news out of the way, we have had to cancel the Pantomime!! Due to work commitments of the cast members we have been unable to get the practice in that we needed to to be prepared for it. We are very sad about this and will ensure next year, we are more organized. We are so sorry to disappoint you but if we cant do it properly, there is no point in doing it at all.
However, we are going to ensure that the children do not miss out, we are going to have a children's party with Father Christmas visiting on Saturday 20th December from 3-5pm. We will have a lovely buffet, a juggling entertainer that will involve the children, showing them how to do it, a visit from Father Christmas dispensing some lovely presents and taking their christmas lists from them. We will also have a photographer to take a picutre of this and photos will be quickly available at £3each or 2 for £5 on a A5 size! A Bargain!! When you book don't forget to get a santa's letter from us for the children to complete and bring back for him!! Tickets are £5 per child and we will give tickets to 1 adult per child to ensure we keep the number of adults to the number of children just for safety of numbers in the centre. We are very much looking forward to seeing many of you at our Christmas Service on the 14th December; it is always such a lovely evening with lots of lovely songs to sing, lovely words, poems and talks, and of course a really good nosh up afterwards!! Just remember it does get very busy very quickly so if you are considering coming, get there early to ensure you get a seat!! Although we have not had to have people standing yet, it is moving that way on our normal services so this Christmas could be just that situation!!
Obviously things start to slow down for the months of December and January as we all have family commitments but keep an eye out, you never know when something special may present itself.

There are only two sessions left now with Tony Faulkners Practising now Buddhist Traditions group of this set but if you are thinking about it, still worth going to the last two to get a taste of what its all about so you are more prepared for his next set, whenever he has the time to do it for us. So Thursday 27th November and 4th December. dont forget!!
