AFFIRMATIONS


AFFIRMATIONS are a way of re-programming your mind.

OUT with the negative….. and …….. IN with the positive.

Say them aloud or to yourself in a very affirming manner as often during the day as you can. See how you feel after 2wks.

There are several rules to constructing your own affirmation.

1) Choose a goal for your affirmation. I.e. Something you deeply desire; a state of being or behaviour.


2) Keep your affirmations completely positive. Avoid words like NO, NOT, DON’T SHOULDN’T or WOULDN’T.


3) Make your affirmations personal. I.e. “I am calm and confident”


4) Use powerful affirmation words and vivid, enriching adjectives.” I am totally at peace within myself and I allow people to see my goodness”


5) Always state your affirmations in the present tense.


6) Keep your statements simple, they have to be remembered.
